It’s official. I’ve packed up my films and sent them off to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences where they will be stored, preserved and eventually have a home in the Academy’s new museum, which is under construction. Wow! A circular building. Great energy. I’m honored to be a part of the magnificent collection of films.
I’m still not over the shock of having my first animated film, Hair Piece: a film for nappyheaded people, as one of 25 films inducted into the National Film Registry in December 2018.
